Process & Strip Layout
Our team of engineers starts a project by creating a process for feasible and cost efficient parts. Using AutoForm as our simulation tool, we are able to obtain feasibility, spring back compensation, required tonnage, and trim line development.
From this process, we create a complete strip layout including compensated surfaces and adjusted trim lines. This calculation data and simulation report creates the perfect package to transfer to the designers.
Designers
In the tooling department, our designers use NX or SolidWorks design software. Several Catia stations are also available to meet our customer’s needs. The designer team creates internal die models to integrate customer feedback and lessons learned for progressive, transfer and line dies.
To ensure a proper fabrication release, we implement constant design reviews and inspection gates.
